The Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist - Bishop Barron
1h 12m
In his keynote talk at the 2020 L.A. Religious Education Congress, Bishop Barron spoke about the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Vatican II says that the Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. However, recent polls show a widespread misunderstanding of the Eucharist and a massive failure in communicating the doctrine of the Real Presence. It is time for all of us—Catholic catechists, educators, and evangelists—to pick up our game about this absolutely essential sacrament!
Bishop Barron was named the bishop of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester (Minnesota) by Pope Francis in 2022. Before that he was an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Bishop Barron is also the founder of Word on Fire Catholic Ministries. Find more videos and resources from Bishop Barron through Word on Fire by visiting https://www.wordonfire.org/.
